Tragic Car Accident Claims Life of Motorcyclist in Chon Buri Province

A devastating car accident shook the Sri Racha district of Chon Buri province yesterday, resulting in the untimely death of a motorcyclist and leaving two others severely injured. The heartbreaking incident unfolded at the Nong Yai Bu intersection, where a car ran a red light and collided with two motorcycles.

The victim, identified as Anurak, a 49-year-old individual whose last name has been kept confidential for privacy reasons, was riding a Honda Wave motorcycle at the time of the collision. The impact was so intense that his motorcycle was completely mangled, causing fatal injuries such as a broken neck and ribs.

Two other individuals, Ekapant, 34, and Sujitra, 30, were riding on a Honda MSX motorcycle and suffered serious injuries in the crash. They were promptly rushed to Phyathai Sriracha Hospital for medical treatment.

The driver of the Toyota car involved in the accident was identified as Santirarat, a 24-year-old individual who admitted to authorities that he was traveling from Chon Buri to Pattaya when he disregarded the red light, leading to the tragic collision.

Law enforcement officials have taken Santirarat into custody for further investigation. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased motorcyclist was transferred by the Piyawet Varyagpati Sri Racha rescue unit to Laem Chabang Hospital, awaiting collection by family members for funeral arrangements, as reported by KhaoSod.
