In December 2023, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted the SRCSO about disturbing videos circulating on the app Kik. These videos depicted girls as young as 3 years old engaging in explicit sexual acts. The authorities swiftly traced the IP address to Faass through his AT&T account.
The Search Warrant and Arrest
With the evidence in hand, deputies wasted no time in obtaining a search warrant for Faass’s residence. On January 31, they descended upon his home and took him into custody. The arrest report revealed that Faass was also accused of sharing videos of himself and a woman partaking in sexual activities over the same app.
