Two motorcyclists were tragically crushed to death by a speeding car near Sharif Cotton Factory on GT road in Khanewal. Tragic Accident in Khanewal Leaves Two Motorcyclists Dead
Tragedy struck in Khanewal as two motorcyclists lost their lives in a horrific accident near the Sharif Cotton Factory on GT road. The speeding car, which was travelling at a high velocity, collided with the two individuals, resulting in their untimely demise. The victims, identified as Sajjad and Asif from Chak No 125/15-L Mian Channu, tragically passed away on the spot.
The driver of the car, responsible for the fatal accident, managed to flee the scene. However, the authorities swiftly responded and transported the bodies to the Tehsil headquarters hospital in Mian Channu. The local police took possession of the car and initiated legal proceedings to investigate the incident further.

Successful Arrest of Notorious Dacoits by Khanewal Police
Khanewal police achieved a significant breakthrough by apprehending four dangerous dacoits associated with the notorious Asadi gang. Acting on a tip-off, SHO Faizan Qayyum led a successful raid, resulting in the capture of the criminals who had instilled fear in the local community.
The arrested dacoits, identified as Asad alias Asadi Peeroana, Zaigham alias Bhola, Danish alias Dani, and Aqeel Haider alias Shani, all hailed from Qatalpur. The police operation also led to the recovery of valuables amounting to Rs 362,000 from the possession of the culprits.
The swift and decisive action taken by the Khanewal police was commended by the residents, highlighting the department’s dedication to maintaining law and order in the region.
