Hyderabad: Tragedy struck a family in Dammapeta, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, late on Saturday night as a woman and her two young daughters lost their lives in a horrific hit-and-run accident. The victims, identified as P Lakshmi, 25, eight-year-old Sharanya Sri, and six-year-old Shanvitha Sri, were riding pillion on a motorcycle when they were knocked off by an unidentified vehicle. The trio fell onto the road and were tragically run over by a truck, leading to their untimely demise.

Lakshmi’s husband, Ch Balakrishna, also sustained severe injuries in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
