It is reported that the arrested individuals also duped childless couples by creating fake adoption documents, swindling them of lakhs of rupees. The CBI has registered a criminal case against 10 accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015.
