Couple Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Delhi Home
New Delhi: A couple was found dead under mysterious circumstances at their home in northeast Delhi’s Mansarovar Park on Friday. Police are investigating the deaths as either a suicide pact or a murder-suicide and are awaiting autopsy reports to establish the cause of their death.
The deceased were identified as Biplav (33), who was found hanging, and Mukta (28), who was possibly strangled. The couple had tied the knot in Feb last year, according to police.

Preliminary investigation by police has suggested no evidence of foul play or involvement of an outsider in the incident, said a senior officer.
Upon receiving a PCR call around 11 pm, a team from the local police station was promptly dispatched to the scene. A senior officer mentioned that the family owned a confectionery shop near their residence.
On the night of the incident, Biplav’s parents, who were present in the shop below, attempted to contact him but he did not respond to their calls. Concerned, they sought the help of their neighbours to check on the couple.
Upon entering the couple’s home, a neighbour discovered Mukta lying on the bed, with suspicions arising that she may have been strangled, and Biplav was found hanging from the door.
It has come to light that Biplav was undergoing treatment for a brain tumour.
Police are continuing their inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the deaths, examining all possible angles to determine the exact sequence of events that led to the unfortunate outcome.
Local residents have been left shocked by the incident, as the couple was known to be happily married.
“We have not found any injury marks on their bodies,” the officer added.
The incident occurred just hours after a 42-year-old man murdered his wife and daughter before hanging himself at his residence in outer Delhi’s Nihal Vihar on Friday.
