On 24th December, three officers from the Colorado State Patrol and Boulder Country Sheriff’s Office approached a car on the side of Hwy 36 near mile marker 42. They discovered a bullet hole in the car’s window and engaged with the man inside, later identified as Efrain Inda.

Officers requested Inda to show his hands outside of the car, which he initially complied with before pulling them back inside along with his foot.
