Both drivers sustained fatal injuries, with Liberty being ejected from his vehicle and Perez passing away at a nearby hospital.
Inside the Kia were a 32-year-old male passenger, the two-month-old baby girl, and a 4-year-old boy. The male passenger and the baby were rushed to a hospital in San Joaquin County with severe injuries. The baby girl was later transferred to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries the following day, leaving a devastated family and community in mourning.
