Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Khushi’s death, which came shortly after another NEET aspirant from Kannauj died by suicide in Kota. A heartbreaking incident occurred in the Civil Lines area of Etah, Uttar Pradesh, where a 19-year-old girl named Khushi took her own life. Khushi had recently returned from Kota after a year of NEET coaching, and was preparing for her upcoming exam while staying at her home. The pressure and stress of the competitive exam seemed to have taken a toll on her mental health, leading to this tragic outcome.

The Unfortunate Turn of Events

On a fateful day, Khushi asked her mother to participate in a puja in their neighbourhood. Seizing the opportunity when her mother left, Khushi went to the fourth floor of her house and tragically ended her life by strangulating herself with a stoll. When her mother returned and discovered the horrifying scene, she raised an alarm, attracting the attention of the neighbours.

The Aftermath and Police Probe

Local authorities, including a team of police, arrived at the scene to investigate and gather evidence surrounding Khushi’s untimely death. Her father, Anil Kumar, revealed to the police that Khushi had struggled with low marks in her preparatory tests, which had exacerbated her feelings of depression. Inspector Arun Kumar stated that a thorough investigation was underway to determine the exact cause of Khushi’s death, as her body was sent for autopsy.
