Teenager Charged in Deadly Assault in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey

Upon receiving reports of an unconscious man, local law enforcement rushed to the scene and found Beebe with a severe head injury. He was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he sadly passed away a few days later as a result of his injuries.
Investigations revealed that Beebe had been assaulted by a 16-year-old boy from Collingswood, who punched him in the head, causing Beebe to fall and hit his head on the ground. The suspect was apprehended two days after the incident in Cherry Hill and initially charged with second-degree assault. However, following Beebe’s tragic death, the charges were upgraded to second-degree manslaughter.
