Luis Adre Sauceda, a 31-year-old man from Temple, Tx, was arrested on charges related to two separate cases dating back five years. The arrest stemmed from an incident in 2019 where Sauceda attempted to use a deceased person’s identity to gain employment. He evaded arrest by fleeing on foot, leading to a pursuit by Temple PD. Temple Man Arrested After Attempting to Use Deceased Person’s ID Leads to Pursuit

A 31-year-old Temple man, Luis Adre Sauceda, found himself in hot water after an attempt to use a deceased person’s identity led to his arrest on Monday. The incident, which took place on August 28, 2019, has resurfaced, resulting in Sauceda being booked into the Bell County Jail on charges of evading arrest by the Temple PD.

Attempted Identity Fraud in Temple

The events unfolded in the 4700 block of Wendland Road in Temple, Texas, where officers were dispatched following reports of a man trying to secure employment using a deceased person’s ID. Upon arrival, a security guard informed the officer that the suspect was making a quick getaway in a white Ford F-150.

Police Pursuit and Capture

A pursuit ensued as the officer chased after the fleeing suspect, eventually catching up with him. Sauceda, in a bid to evade arrest, attempted to push past the officer and flee on foot. Despite his efforts, the officer managed to apprehend Sauceda after a brief chase, during which the suspect attempted to hide in a boiler room on another property.

Aggravated Assault Charges

Furthermore, Sauceda’s troubles did not end there, as he was also facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon stemming from an incident on August 18th, 2019. The altercation, which took place in a Temple home on the 4200 block of Longhorn Train, involved Sauceda and three other men. During the disturbance, a kitchen knife was used, resulting in one of the victims sustaining two stab wounds in the back.

Legal Ramifications

Following the incident, warrants were swiftly issued for Sauceda’s arrest. As of Monday afternoon, he remained in custody at the Bell County Jail, facing charges related to both the attempted identity fraud and aggravated assault incidents.
