The incident, captured on video by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, took place in northwest Harris County. The suspect, Jerell Alexander, was arrested after being located at a nearby hospital. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and is currently in the Harris County Jail. The Unusual Robbery Incident in Northwest Harris County
Over the weekend, a rather bizarre incident took place in the quiet neighborhood of northwest Harris County. A group of men in two separate cars attempted to steal a landscaper’s lawn equipment from his vehicle, but little did they know that the landscaper would put up a fight like no other.
The Unexpected Turn of Events
As the suspects’ cars approached the landscaper on Renmark Lane near Cypresswood Drive, he took matters into his own hands. In a moment of sheer bravery, the landscaper threw his weedwhacker at one of the cars, hitting one of the suspects and causing him to fall out of the vehicle.
Despite his fall, the suspect managed to get back into the car and flee the scene. However, thanks to the quick thinking and actions of the landscaper and a neighbor, the suspect was later apprehended at a nearby hospital where he was receiving treatment for minor injuries.
The Arrest and Charges
The suspect, identified as Jerell Alexander, 23, has been charged with aggravated robbery and is currently in custody at the Harris County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Meanwhile, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman is urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the apprehension of the other suspects involved in the robbery.
