Man Arrested Hundreds of Miles Away for Midlands Shooting
A Midlands resident lost his life in a tragic incident weeks ago, and now a man has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting. The suspect, Quenell Marquis Anderson, a 37-year-old Edgefield County resident, was apprehended on March 20 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, which is more than 500 miles away from the crime scene in South Carolina.

Anderson was taken into custody with the help of the Maryland State Police and the Prince George’s County Police Department, according to a statement released by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) on Friday.
