At 6:20 p.m., State Troopers rushed to the scene of the accident at 644 Route 10 in Gilsum. The aftermath of the collision revealed a 2023 Ford Transit and a 2021 Kia Seltos, both bearing the scars of the impact. The driver of the Kia Seltos, 81-year-old David Bosma, and his passenger, Kathleen Bosma, were both gravely injured in the crash.
Medical Helicopter Transport
Due to the severity of their injuries, David and Kathleen Bosma were swiftly airlifted to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention. David was flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, while Kathleen was taken to Concord Hospital. The swift response of the DHART medical helicopter undoubtedly played a crucial role in their chances of survival.
Impaired Driver Arrested
The driver of the Ford Transit van, 29-year-old Alexander Bazarnicki, was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence. Despite the consequences of his reckless actions, Bazarnicki was released on bond and is awaiting his court appearance in Keene District Court.

Following the incident, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (CAR) Unit took over the investigation at the request of Troop C.
