Annapolis and Baltimore police are working together to investigate the suspicious death of a Baltimore man who was reported kidnapped just hours before his body was found. The victim, identified as David Winchester Jr., was allegedly abducted by unknown suspects in Baltimore on March 28th.
The incident began when Baltimore police responded to a report of a home invasion in the Southwest district in the early hours of Thursday morning. According to reports, two unidentified men broke into a residence and demanded money from a woman, claiming to be holding her son, David Winchester Jr. The men threatened to harm him if the money was not handed over, but they left without the money in an unspecified vehicle.
Later that morning, at 8:30 a.m., Annapolis police were called to a wooded area in the 900 block of Spa Road, where they discovered the body of a deceased man. The victim was identified as Winchester, a 47-year-old man from Baltimore. Annapolis police determined that the death was suspicious and the body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further investigation.
