Man Taken into Custody for Murder After Fatal Shooting in Barstow
Authorities in Victorville, California, have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Barstow. The incident occurred on Friday, March 22, 2024, at a residence on Tawney Ridge Lane. The victim, Marshall Mitchell, a 44-year-old resident of Victorville, was shot in the leg and later succumbed to his injuries.
Upon receiving a distress call, deputies from the Victorville Police Department rushed to the scene and found Mitchell in critical condition. He was immediately transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for emergency medical treatment.
Despite efforts to save him, Mitchell passed away the following day after suffering a severe medical emergency. The tragic turn of events left authorities scrambling to identify the perpetrator responsible for his untimely death.
Suspect Identified and Apprehended
