Altercation Leads to Tragic Outcome
According to Toronto Police, the fatal altercation between the two men occurred just before 7 a.m. on Friday. The victim, identified as Dimitri Smith, 32, of Toronto, was stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon during the altercation and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
Suspect Apprehended at the Scene
The suspect, Dean Joel Constance, also a Toronto resident, was arrested at the scene by authorities. He has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the incident.
