An alleged drug courier, Nilfa Limbo, was arrested in Bohol, Philippines, with illegal drugs worth millions of pesos during a buy-bust operation. The 56-year-old suspect, originally from Leyte but residing in Parañaque City, was found with large packs of suspected shabu weighing 1,050 grams, valued at P7,140,000. The Bohol Police Provincial Office received a tip-off about the drug delivery, with Limbo claiming she received the order from a prisoner at New Bilibid Prison in Metro Manila. In a separate operation on Good Friday, two more drug suspects were apprehended in Cebu City, with drugs worth P68,000 seized. The suspects are currently detained at the Parian Police Station.

Drug Courier Arrested in Dauis Town, Bohol

An alleged drug courier was apprehended by authorities in a buy-bust operation that took place in Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Dauis town, Bohol. The suspect, identified as Nilfa Limbo, 56, a native of Leyte currently residing in Barangay Sucat, Parañaque City, was found in possession of large packs of suspected shabu weighing 1,050 grams with a standard drug price of P7,140,000.

Police Operation

The Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) received information regarding the illegal narcotics that were set to be delivered in the municipality. During police interrogation, the suspect revealed that she received the order to transport the drugs from a prisoner at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. The BPPO has identified the drug recipient in Dauis town, but his identity remains undisclosed pending further investigation.

Subsequent Arrests

On Good Friday, March 29, the Parian police carried out anti-illegal drug operations that led to the capture of more drug personalities. Marc Jhozel Masriscal, also known as Mamaw, 28, of Cahipa Street, Barangay Hipodromo, Cebu City, was apprehended in Sitio Lower Lumar, Barangay T. Padilla, with two large packs containing suspected shabu. Another drug personality, Ismael Salonoy Inopiquez, 57, from Cahipa street, was also arrested in Hipodromo with eight packs of suspected shabu.

Detention

Both drug personalities are currently detained at the Parian Police Station. The authorities continue their efforts to eradicate the illegal drug trade in the region and ensure the safety of the community.
