The gruesome murder of a 12-year-old boy with disabilities in the Taloja area of Navi Mumbai has shocked the entire city. The perpetrators of this heinous crime turned out to be none other than two siblings, Ramzan Shaikh, 20, and Mohammad Shaikh, 30, who were neighbors of the victim in the Thakurpada area of Daighar.

According to the police, the incident took place on the evening of 25th March when Ramzan lured the boy with the intention of raping him. When the victim resisted, Ramzan, in a fit of rage, stoned him to death and then throttled him. However, not convinced that the boy was dead, Ramzan called his brother Mohammad to the spot. Mohammad, fearing that the boy might expose them, tied his hands and legs and drowned him in a small water pit until he died.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother had registered a kidnapping case with the Daighar police and launched a frantic search for her son. Unfortunately, her efforts were in vain as the Taloja police discovered the boy’s body, which matched the description of the missing child. The body was identified, confirming the tragic fate of the young boy.

During the investigation, the police interrogated several individuals, including the siblings, but it was Ramzan and Mohammad who eventually confessed to the crime.
