A Chesterfield woman has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a fatal crash in the Lakeside Avenue area, as reported by the Henrico County Police Division. The incident occurred on March 28 at 11:43 p.m. when officers responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a tree on Lakeside Avenue. The passenger, 54-year-old Tiffney Lynn Wittersheim, succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital. The driver, identified as 54-year-old Becky Renee Wagner, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Tragic Accident in Henrico County Leaves One Dead

A Chesterfield woman has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a deadly crash in the Lakeside Avenue area of Henrico County. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 28th at 11:43 p.m. near the intersection of Lakeside Avenue and Clarke Street.

Details of the Incident

Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash, where they found a car that had collided with a tree in the median of Lakeside Avenue. Unfortunately, a passenger in the vehicle, 54-year-old Tiffney Lynn Wittersheim of Henrico, sustained significant injuries and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 54-year-old Becky Renee Wagner of Chesterfield, was also located at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, alcohol was believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.
