Man Arrested for Attempted Rape in Riverside County
A 45-year-old man has been arrested and is facing charges of attempted rape after allegedly sexually assaulting two women this week in Riverside County, authorities announced.
Incident Details
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Lake Matthews Station responded to the 3700 block of Harvill Lane in an unincorporated area of Corona known as Home Gardens at around 5:45 p.m. Mar. 24 on reports of female victims asking for help, according to a department news release.
The victims informed deputies that a man, later identified as Alexander Armenta, had sexually assaulted them at the location.
Arrest and Charges
Authorities were able to locate the 45-year-old Jurupa Valley resident, Alexander Armenta, and take him into custody. He was subsequently booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on two counts of attempted rape.
