The incident at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Mohali has left everyone shocked and puzzled. The 23-year-old restaurant employee, Sagar, allegedly jumped to his death at the domestic departure area, sending waves of panic through the airport.
According to DSP Kuljinder Singh, Sagar was seen on CCTV footage coming out of the domestic departure area while talking on his mobile phone. Suddenly, he lost his temper, throwing away his phone before making the fateful decision to jump from the tarmac. He landed between pillar numbers 8 and 9 in front of the international departure gate.
