The Sabarmati West Police Station received the distressing information around 4:13 pm on Tuesday and immediately rushed to the scene. With the assistance of the fire department, Vanshika’s body was recovered from the river. Tragically, her mother later identified the body, revealing that Vanshika had been under immense stress since her father’s untimely passing three years ago.
