Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Sadly, 31-year-old Joel Villalobos was pronounced dead, while the second victim, 42-year-old Pedro Arias, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Four Suspects Apprehended by LAPD
The LAPD wasted no time in their investigation and managed to apprehend four suspects in connection with the shooting. The individuals arrested are Luis Chavez, 47, of Inglewood; Ivan Gonzalez, 21, of Lynwood; Christian Castillo, 18, of Gardena; and Daniel Murillo, 18, also from Gardena.
