A joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) team, comprising of Srinagar police, 50 RR, Valley QRT, and 29Bn CRPF, worked tirelessly to establish a strong presence in the area. Their efforts paid off when they intercepted a white Alto vehicle carrying four individuals suspected to be terror associates.

The four apprehended individuals were identified as Md Yaseen Bhat, Sheraz Ahmad Rather, Ghulam Hassan Khandey, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat. All of them have been taken into custody for further questioning. The incriminating evidence found in their possession included a cache of weapons and ammunition.

Recovery of Arms and Ammunition

During the search operation, security forces recovered 01 AK 56 rifle with 3 Magazines, 75 rounds of 7.62 x 39 mm, 01 Glock Pistol with 2 Magazines, 26 Rounds of 9 mm, and 06 Chinese grenades. These weapons posed a significant threat to the peace and security of the region.
