Jamestown police have recently identified the victim who tragically lost his life in Monday’s shooting as a resident of Dunkirk. The incident took place at a residence located at 839 Prendergast Ave, which has been at the center of attention due to the unfortunate events that occurred.

According to a news release issued by the Jamestown Police Department on Wednesday morning, officers responded to a reported gunshot complaint at the aforementioned address. Upon arrival, it was discovered that three individuals were involved in what appears to be an isolated incident. Sadly, Trevon D. Tripp, aged 26, was found deceased in the apartment building, while the other two individuals sustained serious injuries.
