Portland Police Identify Victim of Downtown Homicide
On March 17, tragedy struck in Downtown Portland as Aaron K. Beasley, a 33-year-old resident of Portland, lost his life in a senseless act of violence. The victim’s family has been notified of his passing and has requested privacy during this difficult time.

The tragic event unfolded on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 11:46 p.m. when officers from the Central Precinct responded to a shooting call in the 800 block of Southwest 10th Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Beasley suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts to provide immediate aid, Beasley was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
