The first attempted breach took place on a Friday morning at 8 a.m. when CBP officers stationed at the Del Rio International Bridge encountered a passenger vehicle driven by a female United States citizen arriving from Mexico. Upon further inspection, it was revealed that the passengers in the car did not possess valid entry documents, leading to their apprehension.

This brazen attempt was thwarted by CBP officers who uncovered the deception. The final incident occurred on Sunday morning when a female U.S. citizen presented a falsified birth certificate for a minor female passenger, leading to her discovery as a Mexican citizen without valid entry documents.
