Samuel Olubun Marsh, 31, was arrested by Tontitown police for various charges including disarming an officer, robbery, and first-degree criminal mischief. The woman, Kamone Dunkley, was shot in the legs and taken to the hospital for treatment. Marsh allegedly kidnapped Dunkley and shot her before releasing her on the side of the road. Marsh was apprehended after a foot pursuit where he attempted to disarm an officer. He claimed to be mentally unstable. Marsh is currently held at the Washington County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.

A woman named Kamone Dunkley had been dropped off at the Wedington Fire Department after sustaining gunshot wounds to her legs. She recounted a harrowing tale to the deputies, alleging that Marsh had forced her into his car, assaulted her with a pistol, and then proceeded to shoot her in the legs before releasing her on the side of Arkansas Highway 16.

Following Dunkley’s report, law enforcement issued a bulletin to be on the lookout for a white Alfa Romeo Giulia driven by Marsh. The alert described Marsh as a suspect in a shooting incident at Wedington Woods involving his girlfriend. A Tontitown police officer spotted the vehicle on U.S. Highway 412 and initiated a traffic stop. As the officer approached Marsh, the situation quickly escalated, with Marsh exhibiting aggressive behavior and refusing to comply with orders.
