The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 32-year-old Lynnwood man found dead in his condominium in February as Brandon J Lloyd. The cause of death has been ruled a homicide due to “sharp force injuries” consistent with stab wounds, incised wounds, and/or chop wounds. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for second-degree murder in connection with Lloyd’s death at the Brio Condominium in Lynnwood. The juvenile was apprehended less than 600 feet from the murder scene and booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center. Detectives discovered that the suspect had been living with the victim for several months prior to the fatal altercation on February 26.

The Tragic Murder of Brandon J Lloyd in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD—In a devastating turn of events, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim of a brutal homicide in Lynnwood as 32-year-old Brandon J Lloyd. The manner of death has been determined to be a homicide, with the cause being “sharp force injuries” consistent with stab wounds, incised wounds, and/or chop wounds.

Arrest Made in Connection to the Murder

On March 6, a 17-year-old boy was apprehended for second-degree murder in relation to the tragic death of Brandon J Lloyd. The suspect was taken into custody in the 15600 block of 35th Avenue West, a mere 600 feet from the murder scene at the Brio Condominium in Lynnwood. The juvenile was then booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center.

Details of the Investigation

Through the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the 17-year-old male suspect had been residing with the victim for several months leading up to a fatal altercation on February 26.

Authorities were alerted to the incident after receiving a distress call regarding an assault with weapons around midnight on the aforementioned date. Upon arrival at the Brio Condominium complex, located at 15415 35th Avenue West, just north of Lynnwood in the Picnic Point area of unincorporated Snohomish County, deputies discovered the lifeless body of Brandon J Lloyd.

The Medical Examiner’s Office is yet to release the name of the deceased victim, leaving friends, family, and the community devastated by this tragic loss.
