Altercation at Red Roof Inn on Highway 45 North

One of the incidents took place at the Red Roof Inn located at 510 Highway 45 North in the early hours of the morning. Damien Brown allegedly forced his way into a hotel room where Macy L. Barnes, 23, and her boyfriend were staying. A physical altercation ensued between Brown and Barnes’ boyfriend, leading to a chaotic scene.

Another incident unfolded at Club Ada located at 2005 13th Avenue North, where officers responded to a disturbance call in the early hours of Sunday. A witness reported a shooting at the club, leading to a 36-year-old male victim turning up at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Despite the victim and witnesses denying any involvement in confrontations or street beef, police are actively investigating the case. A person of interest has been identified, although their name has not been released to the public at this time, as confirmed by Moore.

Search for Kerry “Tay Tay” Smith

Additionally, the police are on the lookout for Kerry “Tay Tay” Smith, 29, of Columbus in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on March 5. Smith allegedly shot another man multiple times following a dispute in the 1000 block of 5th Avenue North.
