The man then proceeded to hold a 4-year-old child in front of him with the knife pressed against the child’s throat, while also holding a 36-year-old woman around her waist, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. Despite repeated commands from the officers to drop the weapon, the situation escalated as the female victim managed to escape and seek medical attention at McDonough District Hospital.
