Jets dominate Blue Jackets with a 6-1 victory

The Winnipeg Jets kicked off their five-game road trip with an impressive 6-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets in Columbus. The victory was a dominant display from the Jets, who never gave the Blue Jackets a chance to catch up.

Leading the charge for the Jets were Tyler Toffoli with two goals, and Kyle Connor, Nikolaj Ehlers, Logan Stanley, and Vlad Namestnikov each contributing a goal of their own. The win brings the Jets’ record to 43-19-5, propelling them back into first place in the Central Division.

Columbus managed to get on the scoreboard with a goal from Brendan Gaunce, but it was not enough to match the offensive prowess of the Jets. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck played a crucial role in the victory, making 30 saves throughout the game.

With this victory under their belts, the Jets now set their sights on their next challenge as they head to New York to face the Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
