Man Killed in Stolen Car Crash in Southeast DC

On Thursday night in Southeast DC, a fatal car crash took the life of a young man and left a woman injured. The incident occurred at around 10:15 p.m. when a stolen Volkswagen Golf was speeding northbound on Alabama Avenue SE and collided with a Hyundai Accent at the intersection with 25th Street SE.

Details of the Tragic Accident

As a result of the crash, the driver and passenger of the Hyundai were ejected from the vehicle. The man, identified as 27-year-old Steven Jermaine Faison Jr., tragically lost his life at the scene. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of the stolen Volkswagen Golf fled the scene on foot, leaving behind a trail of devastation and heartache.
