Police Sub-Inspector Found Dead in Pune’s Koregaon Park

A tragic incident unfolded in the upscale area of Koregaon Park in Pune, as a Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) from the Motor Transport unit was found dead. The deceased, identified as Dattatray Kurale (55), was discovered in the Little Goa building on Lane Number 7.

According to police reports, Kurale had visited the building around 7pm on Friday before leaving and returning later. He headed to the top floor of the building, where the British Brown Bar salon is located. Unfortunately, a fatal accident occurred as he descended the stairs, leading to his untimely death. The entire sequence of events was captured on CCTV cameras within the building.

The discovery of Kurale’s body was made by a watchman conducting routine duties on Saturday morning, who promptly alerted the authorities. During the subsequent investigation, the police found Kurale’s mobile phone inside a car parked on the building premises. The reason for his presence in the building remains a mystery, prompting further inquiries by the authorities.
