Tragic Incident in Rajkot: Driver Commits Suicide After Accidentally Killing Three Friends in Junagadh

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 35-year-old driver, Natha Kodiyatar, took his own life after being overwhelmed with guilt for causing the death of three of his friends in Junagadh. The incident took place near Bantva town, where Natha accidentally rammed his van into the trio while on his way to pick up his wife and children from Jamnagar.

Natha, a resident of Bantva taluka in Junagadh district, was devastated upon learning about the tragic outcome of the accident. He suffered from deep remorse and decided to end his life by hanging himself at his sister’s house in Kutiyana town of Porbandar.

According to Natha’s brother, Khima, the driver abandoned his van after the collision and sustained injuries on his head and hands. He was initially admitted to a hospital in Manavadar and later transferred to a hospital in Porbandar for further treatment.

Despite his intentions to surrender himself to the authorities after disclosing the incident to his brother, Natha tragically chose to end his life. He leaves behind his wife, three daughters, and a son, who are now left to cope with the aftermath of this devastating loss.

The community in Rajkot is in shock and mourning over the loss of four lives in this tragic chain of events. The untimely deaths of Natha and his friends serve as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of road safety.
