72-Year-Old Man Arrested for Impersonating Police Officer in Trussville

A 72-year-old man from Springville, Alabama, was taken into custody on Friday for allegedly pretending to be a police officer and conducting traffic stops in the Trussville area, according to authorities.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division and State Bureau of Investigation were alerted to the situation on Tuesday after receiving reports of a man impersonating a law enforcement officer and pulling over vehicles in Trussville.

Following an investigation, John Milhorn was identified as the suspect in the case and was subsequently arrested on Friday. He has been charged with impersonating a peace officer and is currently being held at the Jefferson County jail on a $100,000 bond.
