Jabalpur Double Murder: Deceased’s Daughter Found With Accused at Madan Mahal Station; Jabalpur Police, 5 Crime Branch Teams On Search For Both

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The Jabalpur double murder case has taken a shocking turn as the minor daughter of the deceased was discovered at Madan Mahal Railway Station with her boyfriend, who is accused of killing her father and 8-year-old brother.

The CCTV cameras at Madan Mahal Railway Station captured the duo on Saturday afternoon, just hours after the bodies of Rajkumar Vishwakarma (53) and his son Tanishk were found stuffed in a refrigerator.

The Jabalpur police reported that the father and son were murdered with sharp weapons between 3 am to 8 am on Saturday. The accused, identified as Mukul and believed to be the boyfriend of Vishwakarma’s minor daughter, entered the house at midnight and carried out the crime in her presence.

According to the police, Mukul stayed at the house until morning and was later seen leaving the Railway’s Millennium Colony on a scooty at 12:20 pm. The daughter then joined him on the scooty at a distance from the colony.

Jabalpur police are actively tracking the location of the accused based on the CCTV footage. Over 800 CCTV cameras in the city have been reviewed in the search for the accused, with 5 teams from the crime branch and local police station involved in the investigation.

The brother’s body was found in pieces, and the accused attempted to manipulate evidence.

ASP Crime Samar Verma stated that the accused and the deceased’s daughter were captured on camera at Madan Mahal station. It is suspected that the accused have left for another city by train. The accused also tried to destroy evidence by cleaning up blood stains in the kitchen, and the 8-year-old’s body was found dismembered in the fridge.

The minor daughter informed relatives about the murder through a voice message.

Jabalpur Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh revealed that the deceased’s daughter informed her cousin about the murders via a voice message, stating, “Please come soon! Mukul has killed papa and brother.”

The minor daughter had previously filed a rape case against the accused in September, who was released from jail shortly before the murder.

Police records show that the daughter had filed a rape case against Mukul in September, leading to his recent release from jail. It is speculated that the youth committed the murders as an act of revenge. Neighbours reported hearing loud noises from the flat in the afternoon but dismissed it as a regular family argument.
