After pleading guilty to one count of second-degree murder earlier this year, Gavin Seymour faced sentencing in Denver District Court. Judge Karen Brody handed down the maximum possible sentence, emphasising the incomprehensible loss of innocent lives in the tragic incident.

Kevin Bui and Dillon Siebert, the other two teenagers involved in the arson attack, also faced legal consequences for their actions. Siebert, who was 14 at the time of the fire, was sentenced in February 2023 to a combination of juvenile detention and state prison time. Bui, accused of being the ringleader, is currently awaiting trial on multiple counts of first-degree murder.
