Tragic Accident Claims Life of 27-Year-Old in Davenport
Authorities have confirmed that the victim of a fatal accident in Davenport has been identified as 27-year-old Gage D. Williams from the local area.
The incident occurred on the 7000 block of North Division Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. Reports indicate that Williams was struck by a pickup truck travelling southbound on Division Street.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 54-year-old man whose identity has not been disclosed, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation following the collision.
The Davenport Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event. At this stage, no further details have been released to the public.
