Man Killed in Robbery in Shahzad Town, Islamabad

Tragedy struck in Shahzad Town, Islamabad, as a man named Akbar Ali, an official of the District Health Office, was brutally gunned down in an apparent robbery. Ali had gone to the market on Lehtrar Road to purchase food items for Iftar when he was targeted by two unidentified assailants.

As Ali entered a street, the suspects brandished their pistols, held him at gunpoint, and mercilessly opened fire, causing him to sustain multiple bullet wounds. Sadly, Ali succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The perpetrators managed to flee the scene, leaving behind a grieving family and a community in shock.

Shahzad Town police have launched an investigation into the heinous crime, registering a case against the unknown culprits based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s brother. While the motive behind the murder remains unclear, initial reports suggest that robbery was the primary motive.

Tragic Road Accident Claims Two Lives in Tarnol

Meanwhile, in Tarnol, Islamabad, a heart-wrenching road accident took the lives of two motorcyclists, identified as Jawad Khan and Moin Khan. The fatal incident occurred at Chungi No 26, where the motorcyclists were struck by a vehicle, resulting in their untimely demise.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving behind a scene of devastation. The bodies of the victims were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, while Tarnol police initiated proceedings by registering a case to bring the responsible party to justice.
