The events leading up to the fatal attack began when Anjan, a resident of Chintamaniswar, accompanied his friend Gautam Sahoo to meet the prime accused, Pinku, in the late hours of the night. Pinku had requested Gautam to meet him near his girlfriend’s house for a discussion, setting the stage for the unfortunate turn of events.

As the conversation escalated into a heated argument, Pinku suddenly lashed out in a fit of rage and attacked Anjan with a sword. The attack was swift and brutal, leaving Anjan grievously wounded. Despite the efforts of local residents who rushed to his aid, Anjan succumbed to his injuries shortly after being taken to the hospital.

Speaking on the ongoing investigation, Inspector In-Charge P.
