Tragic Bus Crash Claims Lives of Three Children and Two Adults in Rushville, Illinois

The community of Rushville, Illinois, is in mourning after a devastating school bus and semi-truck collision resulted in the loss of two adults and three children on Monday. The incident, which took place in Schuyler County, has left residents from Illinois and beyond reeling from the tragedy.

The victims have been identified as 5-year-old Maria Miller, 3-year-old Andrew Miller, and 3-year-old Noah Driscoll, all residents of Rushville. In addition, 57-year-old Angela Spiker from Rushville and 72-year-old David Coufal from Browning also lost their lives in the crash.

In response to the heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the families of the deceased children with funeral expenses. The fundraising effort has already garnered over $39,000 in donations from 552 contributors, demonstrating the outpouring of support for the grieving families.

Organizer Dominic Thurman expressed gratitude for the community’s generosity, emphasizing that every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping the families navigate this difficult time without the added burden of financial concerns.
