Accident – Death – Obituary News : Rohtak: Mehar Singh Numberdar, 83, the head of Sarv Khap panchayat (Meham Chaubisi), tragically passed away in a road accident on Thursday morning. The incident occurred when he was out for his routine morning walk and was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene after the collision. Mehar Singh Numberdar, a resident of village Kishangarh, was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

In another unfortunate road accident in Shimla, three individuals lost their lives while one sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a 300-meter-deep gorge in Chopal sub-division of Shimla district. The accident took place at Chafalah on Dhabas-Saren road, claiming the lives of Kamlesh Thakur (42) of Dimoh village, Devdutt Sharma (35) of Jasaut village, and Rajesh (42) of Sarahan. Dinesh from Dimoh village was the sole survivor but suffered injuries in the tragic incident.

On a brighter note, Rohit Dhaka of Sundana village in Rohtak achieved All India Rank 3 in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) assistant commandants (executive) examination conducted by the UPSC.
