Dayton Man Faces Human Trafficking Charges
March 14—A Dayton man has been indicted on three felony charges related to human trafficking, according to court records.
Mark S. Moore, 42, is set to appear in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on March 28 to face charges of trafficking in persons (compulsion to involuntary servitude), compelling prostitution, and promoting prostitution.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by Dayton police, during which a woman provided testimony implicating Moore in human trafficking activities. The woman alleged that Moore would post her photos on solicitation websites, communicate with potential clients, set prices, and transport her to meet clients for the purpose of engaging in sexual activities in exchange for money.
Additionally, the woman claimed that Moore supplied her with drugs and demanded a portion of her earnings from each encounter. This exploitation of vulnerable individuals for financial gain is a serious offence under the law.
A warrant for Moore’s arrest was issued following the indictment, and he is currently being sought by law enforcement authorities.
