Breaking News: Vermont State Police Arrest Luke Kennedy for Violating Conditions of Release

The State of Vermont Department of Public Safety, Vermont State Police, has taken Luke Kennedy into custody for violating his Conditions of Release. This incident occurred on March 14th, 2024 at around 5:09 pm on County Road in Swanton.

Details of the Incident

According to Trooper M. Conte of the St. Albans station, Luke Kennedy, a 38-year-old resident of Georgia, Vermont, was found to be in violation of an active set of Conditions of Release and a Relief from Abuse Order. Kennedy was reportedly at a residence on Guilder Lane, which was prohibited by the terms of his release.

Upon discovery of the violation, Kennedy resisted initial attempts to arrest him but was eventually apprehended by law enforcement officers. He was then taken to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.

Subsequent to his arrest, Kennedy was unable to post the $10,000.00 bail and was remanded to the Northwest Correctional Center. He is scheduled to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court on March 15th, 2024 at 8:30 am to face charges related to the violation.

Court Proceedings

As a result of the arrest, court action has been initiated against Luke Kennedy. He is due to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on March 15th, 2024 at 8:30 am. The bail amount set for Kennedy is $10,000.00.
