Jasper Police Arrest Bradley Brumley for DUI and Drug Possession

On Thursday night, Jasper Police made a significant arrest after conducting a routine traffic stop at the intersection of 6th and Jackson Streets. The officers pulled over a 2015 Toyota Highlander that was travelling in the wrong direction on a one-way street. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Bradley Brumley from Jasper, was found to be operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Following the initial contact with Brumley, Jasper Police Department (JPD) officers conducted a series of field sobriety tests which led them to suspect that Brumley was driving under the influence. As a result, Brumley was transported to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol level. However, Brumley refused to take the test, prompting the officers to obtain a search warrant.

With the search warrant in hand, the officers were able to conduct the chemical test, which confirmed their suspicions of Brumley’s intoxication. Subsequently, Bradley Brumley was taken into custody and transported to the Dubois County Security Center for further processing.

During the intake process at the detention facility, a THC vape device was discovered hidden in Brumley’s pocket. This discovery led to additional charges being filed against Brumley in connection with drug possession.
