A frantic search is currently ongoing for a man who allegedly shot a woman during a domestic dispute in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County. The incident took place at a residence on the 1300 block of Ivey Point Drive at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

**Victim in critical condition**
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered a woman with a gunshot wound to her rear shoulder. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention and is currently in critical condition.
**Suspect identified as Anthony Young**
Following a thorough investigation, detectives determined that the alleged perpetrator is the victim’s romantic partner, 37-year-old Anthony Young from South Carolina. Young is facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
