KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Body of Missing Man Found in Missouri River

On Tuesday, March 12 at 5:40 p.m., the Missouri Highway Patrol received reports of a body floating in the Missouri River. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Alexander L. Stark from Kansas City.

Stark’s body was discovered near St. Louis, in St. Charles, Missouri, close to mile marker 43. He had been reported missing on February 18, prompting a search and recovery operation involving the Missouri Dive Team, Aircraft Division, Washington Fire, and Washington Police Department.

The tragic discovery brings closure to Stark’s family and loved ones, who had been anxiously awaiting news of his whereabouts. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Local residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity near the river to prevent similar incidents in the future.
