Woman from Uzbekistan found murdered in Bengaluru hotel room
A tragic incident unfolded in Bengaluru as a woman from Uzbekistan was discovered dead in a hotel room, sparking a police investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death.
The victim, identified as Zareena, had arrived in Bengaluru on a tourist visa just four days prior to the harrowing discovery. She had chosen to stay at a hotel near the BDA Bridge during her visit to the city.
The alarm was raised when one of Zareena’s friends contacted the hotel staff at 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, expressing concerns about her well-being. Despite repeated attempts to get a response by knocking on the door, there was no answer from inside the room. Eventually, the staff resorted to using a master key to gain access, only to find Zareena’s lifeless body lying on the floor, her face covered in blood.
Upon alerting the authorities, preliminary investigations indicated that the Uzbek woman had been the victim of a violent crime. It was noted that Zareena had sustained injuries to her face, leading the police to suspect that she had been assaulted before her untimely demise.

Further details emerged when it was revealed that a man named Rahul Kumar had booked the hotel room for Zareena, with the reservation extending until March 16.
